03 Vertical edge limiter straps

I recently put a straightened 153 A20 cut to 2" under my 03 700 vertical edge. I moved the skid down 1" and back 1.5". The track hooks up extremely hard on all snow conditions the problem is the front end is costantly 6" to maybe 18" up in the air, was cool at first but hard to handle at times, when you lift off the throttle and stab it while climbing it pulls the front end way out of the snow and then settles down, if you happen to hit hard pack while doing this it about likes to come over. Some may think its cool but its not the way to make a good climb. Should I tighten the limiter straps or should I move the skid back up 1/2" or so. Any one been there or done this. Thanks

Had an 01 800 151 that I moved the skid back on and liked the lighter front end. Had an 02 800 156 and put a 159 on it and moved the skid back 1" and liked it, but that's just me.

I would tighten the limiter straps one hole at a time before moving the skid foward.
