03 summit 800 Wont start

I bought this sled at an auction a couple months ago. The thing ran like a top when I put it on my trailer. Its a carburated unit and Ive tried choke on and off as well as replacing the plugs but to no avail. I have double checked the kill switch, the spark interuptor, put new fuel in it and the fuel switch is on. Ive never had a ski doo before, Is there any special tricks to starting these Units? I didnt think Id have this kind of trouble on this new of a sled.

check for spark, if yes and plugs are dry, give it a bit of gas through the plug holes and it might jmp it long enough to get the fuel circuit alive. If it doesn't go and won't get fuel check the pump and pulse line.. good luck..

2003 skidoo summit 800ho rpm stuck

i start the sled up and it runs fine but the rpm gauge doesnt move................and if i go up in the mountains in the altitude the sled runs worst , the higher i go the worst it runs...........in fact i will quit if i gohigh enough.....................this just started after we put a new short block in it............anyone have any ideas or thoughts...appreciated thanks

Chk your dpm hoses make sure they're all connected & tight. Sounds like it's running richer & richer as you go higher. Thinking this due to motor being out. For no tach, chk the connectors all the way up to the tach. Chk w/ a test lite for power on the yl & or yl/bk wires at the tach. If power there then prob bad tach, if none then start at the mtr and follow thru. Chk voltage reg, see how much voltage is being produced. It's basically a 12 volt ac system more than say 18v ac is too much an will cause prob's.
