03 RMK cutting out at the end of the day

My 03 RMK seems to be cutting out at the end of the day on the ride out sometimes, it seems like it is running out of gas but there should be plenty left. What does the fuel line inside the tank look like? Is it attached to anything at the bottom or does it just bounce around the bottom of the tank? Is there problems with the line inside the tank causing an issue like this?

Fuel line has a filter on it that helps weigh it down to stay in the fuel. The CDI on that machine will retard the timing as it get close to hot. If the sending unit starts to fail it will do the same thing. You can make a jumper for it and try that when it starts acting up.

If it is noticeably warmer on the ride out, and you have the genuine Polaris red suction tube coming off the bottom of the crankcase, and it has a bend in it, that tube could be completely folding over and cutting off the suction that goes to the fuel pump. Which then starves the engine of fuel.

Those hose will get rot in them and crack leaving a place to suck air some where higher up in the tank.
