03 edge 800 slp pipe on 01 gen 2 800?

Will an slp pipe and can for an 03 800 edge work on a 01 rmk 800 gen 2? I have one and new riding buddy wants a slp pipe and can. I am willing to give it to him if it will work. Thanks for any help.

I know it wont be a direct bolt on but I am sure we can get it to fit fairly easy.

The question is will it give the non ves 800 the same perf gains the pipe gave the ves motors?

He has an older slp pipe for the sled but no can.. Will the can for the 03 give a performance gain to his sled? Again if we get it to fit in there?

It will work fine but fit a little wierd. May have to move the can outlet in the belly pan.

Yup ive got an 03 slp can on my 01, had to move the hole a lil bit foreward, but, its wayyyyy easier to find and edge can then a GENII can
