03 & 04 Summit knowlege needed please

I am thinking of trading a guy my 04 Renegade x chasis for an 03 144" Rev Summit X chasis.
He has a 136" skid from an 03 ZX summit (non X)for me as well.Will the 136" skid be fine with a set of rail extentions in the 03 Rev Summit X chasis?
Didnt the 03 rev summit have different mounting location for the skid than an 04 causing track clearance to tunnel/heat exchanger issues?
I would be having to use what looks like less than adaquite shocks on this
136" non X summit skid also.
What do you think,good deal or not?Or stick to what I have?

keep what you have , it has a lot more going for it than the 03.

I thought with the summit chasis and summit skid it would stay up on the snow and just preform better in powder.
Am I right about tunnel to track clearence issue?
