In the fall I had my old sled in for a tune up. I didn't run it until about new-years and it started up fine. I let it warm up, it took off like normal, then after about 10 seconds, it would start to bog out until it shut off. It did this a few times, then as it would bog out, I would flick the choke back on and it wouldn't shut off. Let it idle with the choke on for a bit, then off with the choke and I could ride it for a quick pull until it bogged again. Choke again, let it settle, choke off, take off again, then bog.
Any ideas as to what this may be? During the tune-up I had a new stator put in and they sync-ed the carbs. The thing ran like a champ for years up until the stator went last may. After that, it sat until I took it in last fall.
-bad gas? I didn't ask if they siphoned out the old stuff during the tune up
-computer? I don't think they re-flashed anything
-spark plugs and wires are brand new.
