02 800 summit model info

Hey all new to the shedding world, i recently bought a summit 800, im trying to find out if it's a sport or a x it says zx-x on the tunnel what is the difference it has a 144 track

ZX-X was the 02 model with the wider running boards. Look at the handle bars The x model was straight across and the non x had a u look to them.

Have pistons been changed yet?

No i took it apart and they look good, i ride 2 stroke dirt bikes so i have a bit of an idea what to look for..they look good sled only has a1300km on it..when should they be swapped out with fresh ones

They had a problem with the rings flakeing, but no big deal just change them now and ride the heck out of it. I had the same sled and never had a lick of problems with it and it's still going strong at 5500 miles.

i have a brand new set of rk tex dual ring 827 pistons/ with base gasket and pins sold my 01 never put them in. These are the updates. $300.00
