I have a 2002 800 144" Cat that I ride occasionally. Last year, i noticed that the headlight would go off for a few seconds and then come back on when on some night rides. It would normally happen after we had been riding a while. I have checked wiring & didn't see anything obvious. It doesn't act like a short. There is no "flicker" it just goes out for a second or two & then comes back on.
Any ideas what would cause this? Sled runs fine, but it's not fun to be running down the river & having the headlight turn off every 5 minutes or so.
