I think SPI is the piston I was thinking of.

I need to replace the stock pistons, (to much clearance). How do the aftermarket pistons hold up compared to the stock pistons.

Thanks for any input.

i have run spi in my 800 for the last 3 years and have had zero problems so if you want to save some $$ go afterrmarket.

I ran dual ring Wisecos in my 800 for awhile without any problems, seems like some people had problems with clearances and seized pistons. SPI is good, lots of stock around, can't go wrong with above supplier, or talk to MCB Perf.

On the o1 800 skidoos Id run the wiscos and this is the reason the wiscos have a build up below the wrisp the covers more of the exhaust ports at tdc and also run a 5 hole base gasket, this will let you drop down from a 500 main to as low as a 460 mains depending on your altitude, it will run alot cleaner and better performance and way better fuel range. I had 4 but sold them , good sled!
