Convert RMK Rro--> Khaos or buy a Khaos?

This is my first year riding Mtn Sleds and I have a 2023 RMK Pro 850 Slash 155. I like it a lot, but after riding a 2026 Khaos 9r 155", Series 9 track, that machine handled much better for my style of riding.

My thoughts are this...I can convert my current 850 to an RMK with some pretty sweet suspension for $3500-5500.

Or...do I sell it for a stock leftover 24 or 25 9r 155" with the Series 9 track.

What would you do if it were your hard earned cash? Huge price difference.

Can't pull the trigger now, $ tied up other places. Otherwise good idea. It'd be a fall purchase. The dealers here are sitting on tons of sleds stacked in crates from 24 and 25.

I've had zero complaints on the Series 8 track I have. I didn't get enough time to determine how I like the Series 9. The engine and handling were nice though!

With the 325 you don't need the limiter either.

buy the khaos with the better weight transfer and better shocks and higher resale value.

The difference between the pro and khaos is mostly limiter length and front track shock length. The khaos is longer in both. You can send your current "pro" front track shock to Carl's cycle and have them remove the internal spacer which makes it the same as the khoas length. Then buy a khaos limiter strap and your done. Costs like 150 for both.

I have a 23 850 pro 2.75 that I have dropped the front suspension one hole and clutch kit, and a 24 9r khoas with 3.25. I like the 24 9r khaos better. But the differnce isn't that huge. If money is an object, I would buy take off khoas shocks and switch out limiter, put on slp pipe and clutch kit and ride it. If your sled is getting up there in miles and your ready for something new and have the $ - go buy a 9r. Sleds are cheaper now than they have been for 5 years.

The profile is pretty minimal. You could keep the rails and be fine.
