Snowmobiling depends on volunteers. The building of trails and the maintenance of those trails is done by volunteers.
The state snowmobile associations and the snowmobile clubs depend on their members. Fundraisers are a regular occurrence for snowmobilers; there is always a raffle or a breakfast taking place to raise funds.
There are many folks who snowmobile but they are not always members of their state association or local club.
