The problem with a Polaris tunnel bag is that sometimes it restricts the cooling characteristics of the tunnel. The bag can trap the heat rather than allow the tunnel to cool via snow dust or ambient cold air.
The CargoLug Tunnel Platform, introduced in 2018, was designed to lift any bag above the tunnel to allow the heat to escape and snow dust to collect. It is specifically designed for Polaris Pro chassis snowmobiles (but will work on most previous models).
The platform leaves roughly 1.25-inches of clearance between your gear and the tunnel, thereby allowing snow to run down the full length of the tunnel to keep it cool. Plus, it protects your gear from getting too hot by lifting it off of the tunnel.
It bolts onto the tunnel channel system and can be positioned anywhere along the channel. It's made from lightweight aluminum and is 13.25x24-inches. It has large openings to help route snow to the tunnel. It also is designed to allow for easy connections with tie-downs if you’re just strapping something to the tunnel.
