AmSnow.com is now SnoWest.com
When it comes to planning your next snowmobile adventure, getting there is half the fun, but it can also be half the challenge, navigating on roads (and off-road) in snow and icy conditions.
The AmSnow test riders know all about that - each year our crew drives thousands of miles getting onto the trails and into the hills. But we have a lot of help this year, thanks to our partnership with Cooper Tires. As you’ve seen in previous issues and online, we’re riding with two set of their Discoverer AT3 tires this season:
• The AT3 4S, designed for on-road and off-road handling and ruggedness; and ideal for both SUVs and trucks. “These tires have been amazing so far,” raves one of our crew. “I like them so much, I want to put them on my own ride and keep them all to myself (don’t tell the boss)!”
• The AT3 XLT, made for trucks and pick-ups, are pretty much the last word in durability and resistance to everything that roads and Mother Nature can dish out. “I'm impressed with the traction of the XLTs! When pulling a 30-foot loaded trailer up a mountain - 11 miles of thick mud, first snow of the season - they did not miss a beat,” says Ryan Thompson, intrepid Western Editor. “Amazing tires!” Learn more at
