As you can see from the brief description of each mountain sled, the M Alpha One is now what we would consider the base model. An upgraded shock package—Fox Float 3 QS3 and Fox Float 3 QSL—marks the biggest difference between the base Alpha and Mountain Cat Alpha One. And the Hardcore is still aimed at hillclimbers and others who pound the backcountry (read: jumps, big drops, etc.).
The Fox Float 3 QS3 are in the ski shocks and front arm shock positions on the Mountain Cat Alpha One and the Fox Float 3 QSL in the rear track spot. The QSL offers two ride positions and a third climbing position—lock-out—which allows you to adjust quickly to riding conditions.
