8. Help More, Hate Less
Brand bashing comments were funny for a couple weeks back in the 50s. Since then, it’s been the easiest way to identify whose complete knowledge of snowmobiles is limited to four colors. Well, that and a handful of misspelled words. Our industry is very small, and douchebag comments on Instagram and Facebook posts tend to only make it smaller. Don’t be a reason it’s shrinking.
If someone asks why their sled might be running weird, offer some helpful advice. Maybe they’ve never heard of belt deflection or don’t understand what causes detonation. Every time you put a cursor in the comment box, you have a choice: make our sport a better community, scroll on by without commenting, or … make the rest of us facepalm.
