Check Bolts – This is especially important on a used machine and even if your machine is new, check that all the bolts are snug. It is easy to have a loose bolt or for someone to forget to tighten one so checking will ensure there are no surprises.
Greasing The Skid – Your skid has a few grease nipples so get down there and apply grease in each one. Don’t force it in fast or over load it as you can push out spacers. Keeping your skid greased will ensure it runs properly all season.
