Ski-Doo X-Team Releases Roster For Winter 2018-19 Race Season

News

The Ski-Doo X-Team has released its 2018-19 preliminary roster at the annual Hay Days event Sept. 8.

Highlights on the ISOC snocross circuit include Scheuring Speed Sport’s Lincoln Lemieux establishing himself as the No. 1 team rider and a prime title contender with Pro-Lite teammate Hunter Patenaude. Boss Racing’s Aki Pihlaja will make his Pro debut while Elias Ishoel is fully recovered from his leg injury and ready to show his raw speed. Tim Tremblay reunites with Warnert Racing and is teamed with multi-time World Champion Adam Renheim and new Pro-Lite rider Francis Pelletier. Women’s Pro Champion Megan Brodeur returns to Anderson Racing with teammates Korbyn, Camryn and Collin Anderson. Ingles Performance is committed to put Leo Patenaude and Marco Travaglini on the top step and Bauerly Racing is back for its 17th season with Marcus Ogemar and Kurt Bauerly.

In RMSHA hillclimb news, Aaron Sterck will join Jay Mentaberry, Blaine Mathews and Ski-Doo’s many talented X-Team riders as they push each other to reach the top of the mountain first.

Cross Country racing on the USXC circuit will see new comer Eddie Neubauer join fellow X-Team riders Dillan and Dustin Dohrn, Andy and Thomas Junglen, Jim and Lydia Sobeck, Craig Ritzinger, Cole Manning and others as they take on the rough Midwest terrain circuits. Out east on the RMR-XC circuit Heath Bell and Remington Lessard will lead the charge. In Alaska, the Iron Dog event will see proven winners Tyler Aklestad and Tyson Johnson joined by two newly signed teams; Todd Minik and Nick Olstad and the team of Bobby Menne and Troy Conlon along with other X-team riders who will take on the grueling race.

X-Team Oval racing will be led by the 2017/18 TLR Cup Champion Gunnar Sterne as he looks to continue his winning ways on the high-speed ice tracks.
