The RMK Assault suspension is well equipped for snow jumping diversity. Walker Evans Piggyback Needle shocks do the work up front as the ski shocks as well as the rear track shock. The front track shock is a Walker Evans Monotube. The WE Needle shocks come with a compression adjustable piggyback reservoir which is super easy to use, even with gloves on. These shocks utilize a hydraulic force at the end of the stroke to resist bottoming of the shock. That is a welcome trait for all of you thrill-seeking cornice jumpers. We were able to ride the Assault in some great snow (read: fresh, deep powder) conditions and do our part to test the suspension. Jumping downed trees and sending it off wind lips along the mountain ridge tops, we could really feel what this suspension is capable of.
