The Assault starts out with the 800 H.O. Cleanfire engine in the proven Axys RMK chassis and has enough differences to make it stand out from the tree-riding crowd. Not that you can’t sidehill an Assault. It’s very capable in the right hands.
Some of the key features that make an Assault what it is are the suspension, wider adjustable ski stance, optional track and the use of a chaincase over the QuickDrive low inertia belt system found on the Pro RMK. The 2018 SnowCheck model of the Assault came in an optional brilliant lime green scheme where the in-season model is a black, “Matte Titanium.”
