Polaris Vs. Ski-Doo Vs. Arctic Cat

Published in the March 2018 Issue April 2018 Snow Tests, Feature, Arctic Cat, Column, Polaris, Ski-Doo Steve Janes

HANDWARMERS

1) Ski-Doo. They are easy to adjust due to the higher profile switch on the console even while on the fly—and tend to work well.

2) Arctic Cat. Since they are mounted on the bars, they are the easiest to find. However, they tend to inadvertently get switched on and off … which tends to leave you with either hot grips or cold hands before you realize what happened.

3) Polaris. The position of the control switch is between your legs so it is the hardest to adjust while on the fly. But the nice part about them is you never inadvertently switch the settings.
