On Dec. 18, 2017, ISSA’s President Gary Cvecich signed an agreement with DF Development that will allow for grooming three trails in the New Meadows area. The three trails to be groomed are the Beaver Creek, Blue Bunch Ridge and East Fork of the Weiser.
The trails can be groomed from Nov. 1, 2017 to May 1, 2018 and will be open to all snowmobilers. These trails will provide access to Forest Service and state lands.
“We are delighted that DF Development has allowed snowmobilers to groom trails in this most important area,” Cvecich said. “We urge snowmobilers to respect their private property and stay on the trails. There are thousands of miles of open terrain all around that provide ample opportunities for off-trail riding. This is a privilege and one we must not abuse. We ask all snowmobilers riding on these trails to do what’s right and stay on the trails.”
Larry Laxson, Valley County Parks and Recreation, said, “We welcome DF Development to Valley/Adams County and look forward to working with them. This agreement is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
