Plymouth, MN – Challenged by a gnarly mountain and natural jumps that launched riders toward the summit, Team Arctic’s mountain race team delivered three class wins and 17 podium finishes at the penultimate round of RMSHA competition at Beaver Mountain in Utah.
David McClure continued his season-long string of winning performances, taking wins in both 600 Improved and 700 Improved on his Arctic Cat M 6000 with a Speedwerx-tuned Arctic Cat 600 DSI C-Tec 2 engine. He was joined atop the winner’s podium by teammate Todd Tupper, who also kept his win-streak alive by capturing yet another victory in Pro Masters Stock aboard his M 8000 in the ProClimb chassis.
Team Arctic racers stood on the box in 14 different classes at Beaver Mountain, notching 17 podium finishes in a full range of classes and categories to highlight the team’s talent and depth, as well as the performance and maneuverability of the M-series snowmobiles.
“Each race on the RMSHA circuit offers unique challenges, yet our M-series snowmobiles and racers continue to respond by taking wins and standing on the podium,” said Mike Kloety, Team Arctic race manager. “The team gave another great performance at the Beaver Mountain Hillclimb, with some new names stepping up and delivering great performances.”
The final RMSHA hillclimb of the 2016 season was April 22-23 at the Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, WY.
