It has been a while since some of us here at SnoWest Magazine have been back into the Mt. Jefferson area to ride ... until today.
Eastern Idaho has received several inches of new snow the past few days but warm temps pretty much made all that disappear ... except at higher elevations. Yeah, the snow wasn’t champagne powder today but there were several inches of new snow up around Mt. Sawtell and Mt. Jefferson and most of it was untracked. The higher we went the “drier” the snow was.
So for all those out there who say winter and riding is over, we know better because we experienced it today.
