The Vintage Snowmobile Hillclimb Association (VSHA) based out of Wyoming held its first race of the season Jan. 30 at Brett Ellingford Hill near Evanston.
There were a total of 24 racers present and five more that did not make it due to road conditions. The low light and low visibility made for treacherous conditions, but the race was a success.
Next on the schedule for the VSHA is a hillclimb on Feb. 20 at the same location. Also at the next race, the association is adding a women’s class that will be open to 1998 or older sleds.
