Arctic Cat Inc. has named longtime director Kenneth Roering its new chairman, succeeding the retiring Christopher Twomey.
The Plymouth-based maker of snowmobiles and ATVs (Nasdaq: ACAT), in an announcement late Wednesday, also named Kim Brink, a marketing executive who works for WPP's dedicated Ford agency, as a new director.
Roering, professor emeritus of marketing at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, has been on Arctic Cat's board since 1996. He succeeds Twomey, who was chairman from 2003 to 2012 and CEO from 1986 to 2010 before returning to both positions briefly last year on an interim basis. He retired again this year.
Brink, meanwhile, is chief operating officer of WPP’s Team Detroit, the dedicated global marketing agency for Ford Motor Co.
