The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest has received multiple requests to extend the public scoping timeframe. Forest Supervisor Rick Brazell has decided to honor those requests and so the Forest Service is extending the comment period for an additional 60 days. For comments to be the most useful to the Forest Service in alternative development, it is asking that public input be submitted by Nov. 14, 2014.
The proposed action is available on the Forest’s website at http://www.fs.usda.gov/nezperceclearwater; follow the links for Forest Plan Revision. Hard copies of the proposed action are available by contacting 208-935-2513 or via email at fpr_npclw@fs.fed.us.
