We got the opportunity to tour Kawasaki’s manufacturing plant in Lincoln, NE, this week and wow, was that a cool experience.
Kawasaki’s manufacturing plant in Lincoln has been building powersports vehicles since 1974 and that not only includes ATVs (including the now fairly extinct three-wheelers) and side-by-sides but also snowmobiles.
Of course, Kawasaki doesn’t make snowmobiles any more but they did have three pretty mint sleds in their showroom that showcased all the various vehicles ever manufactured at the Nebraska facility.
Kawasaki’s manufacturing plant boasts 2.2 million square feet of manufacturing space, making it the largest manufacturing facility in the state of Nebraska. Kawi also builds its rail cars at the same facility in Lincoln. That was really pretty amazing to see that as well.
