After four days of riding in northwest Colorado I had to, sadly enough, head back to Idaho. Actually I drove by home and headed to Montana for the World Snowmobile Expo in West Yellowstone this weekend.
Our final day of riding had us exploring the western edge of Black Mountain north of Craig.
Just like our first day of riding Black Mountain, our second day was sun-splashed and full of off-trail (mixed in with some trail riding) exploring. We found a few hills to climb and played in what the locals call the bowls.
We also went to the edge of Black Mountain and were treated to absolutely stunning views of northern Colorado’s mountains.
Again we thank members of the Northwestern Colorado Snowmobile Club for showing us around and finding some great snow.
