Here is a snapshot of the snow cover as of the morning of Dec. 9. All that white is a beautiful thing if you ask us. We're guessing folks in Texas probably wouldn't agree with us, however.
We just need to convert them to snowmobiling and then they'll understand.
Here's another website that shows how deep the snow is in various places: http://www.nohrsc.noaa.gov/nsa/. Click on the Interactive Maps label on the left side of the page, then open the drop down menu on the left under Select Physical Element and click on "snow depth" and then the Redraw Map button and the map will snow the snow depth. You can even zoom in on various regions of the country by drawing a box with your mouse.
Here's hoping this just the beginning of an awesome winter of white.
