A new website now provides hillclimb fans with
minute-by-minute updates of every Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Hillclimb Association
(RMSHA) event. Sled2Sled.com is a new website that provides race results for all
RMSHA races in real-time format.
Previously, race fans and media didn't
have access to race results for several days following a hillclimb
race. With employees at every race to keep track of times, Sled2Sled provides qualifying
results for all classes as well as final results within minutes of the race. Thanks
to Sled2Sled co-founders Rocky Young and Tyson Thomas, race fans can now follow
the race action as it happens every weekend.
"The goal and purpose of Sled2Sled is to grow and raise
awareness of the sport of hillclimb, its racers and sponsors," said Sled2Sled
CEO and RMSHA racer Erin Beukelman. "I think once we get our name out there and
people become aware of what it is, it should be an extremely beneficial site to
many throughout the sledding industry."
The RMSHA is hosting seven race events this season. The Bear
Lake Hillclimb in Montpelier, ID,
and the Afton Hillclimb in Afton,
WY, are already in the books. The
White Pine Hillclimb in Pinedale,
WY, is this weekend, Friday,
March 8 to Sunday, March 10. Qualifying runs will be run Friday and Saturday
for 600, 700, 800 and 1000 sleds in stock, improved stock and mod-stock
classes. Finals will take place on Sunday.
Sled2Sled will be there for every second of every race,
providing instant results of every heat and final and updating results of every
class throughout the day.
