Of course most everyone knows that the Winter X Games are
going on this weekend in Colorado.
But here's an update on other snowmobile racing across the
West.
Mountain West Racing
(www.mountainwestracing.com)
With one race under its belt, MWR has a snocross going on
this weekend in Alpine, WY. Check the website for more details.
Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Hillclimb Association
(wwwrmsha.com)
Forget what you read in the January issue of SnoWest Magazine and even what you might
have seen in the RMSHA Program. The racing schedule has changed a few times
over the past month. The most current race schedule is posted on the RMSHA
website and it shows the first race of the season will be Feb. 8-9 with the
Bear Lake Hillclimb in Montpelier,
ID.
Xtreme Mountain Racing (www.xmr-racing.com)
This circuit is taking the weekend off for the X Games and
has had to cancel one of its races due to a lack of snow but there are still
several races scheduled. Check out the XMR website.
AMMC Racing (www.ammcracing.org)
This Alaska-based race circuit is scheduled to have a race (the
Big Lake Islander 150) this weekend, depending on snow conditions. For the
latest information, go to the AMMC website.
