Sleducation Classes Cover Snowmobiling And Avalanche Prepardness

News

It's never too late to take an avalanche safety course, even if the snowmobiling season has started. Several classes sponsored by the Payette (Idaho) Avalanche Center and the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation are scheduled for western Idaho in January, February and March.

The Sleducation Class will be a 4-hour class set up especially for snowmobilers. People need to pre-register for the class. It starts at  9 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month. Those attending the class should be out of class and free to ride by 1 p.m.

All the details, including how to pre-register, are included in the attached PDF.

There is also fundraiser scheduled for the Payette Avalanche Center by the Friends of the Payette Avalanche Center on Feb. 23 in McCall, ID.

More information is available at www.payetteavalanche.org and www.parksandrecreation.idaho.gov.
