SnoWest Magazine and the Idaho State Snowmobile Association are bringing three major snowmobile manufacturers, along with a number of aftermarket companies, to town for two days at the Idaho Snowmobile Show, this weekend in Boise.
Snowmobilers will find everything they need for snowmobiling at one location.
The Idaho Snowmobile Show will be held Nov. 19-20, 2010 at EXPO Idaho in Boise. This is a new date for the show and the change has created a lot of excitement among snowmobilers. There's even snow in the mountains, letting us all know it's time to prepare. And what better way than at a snow show.
We know what snowmobilers want for Christmas but you won't be able to find it on Black Friday. Snowmobilers will, however, be able to find the perfect gift at the Idaho Snowmobile Show.

The show will be filled with some of the elite vendors in the snowmobile community. From the major sled manufacturers (Ski-Doo, Polaris and Arctic Cat), plus some of the latest specialty sleds, to the best of the aftermarket companies with the latest in high performance products to fantastic resorts and lodging from various destinations around the West to the SnoWest Magazine Project Sled build to how-to-seminars from how to ride, what to wear and how to be safe while snowmobiling, there is plenty to see, do and participate in over the two days.
Bret Rasmussen and Amber Holt will be providing the tips on how to ride while Klim is offering up ideas on how to dress for the conditions. And the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will be hosting avalanche seminars. IDPR will also be bringing its OHV education simulator, a hydraulically-driven piece of equipment used to help young or inexperienced riders feel the movements of a machine under them so they can react appropriately in a controlled environment.
Come down Friday night and enjoy a tailgate party with the MotorFist crew. They will be hosting free food, contests and prize giveaways all while being able to watch Boise State University football do its thing on big screen TVs. There will be prizes for the craziest BSU fan, new snowmobilers, old snowmobilers-you name it, there will be prizes for it.
The giveaways will continue ALL weekend with Klim giving $800 in merchandise ($400 each day) away over the weekend along with many other exhibitors who have put together great door prizes to give back to the attendees.
Boise-based Western Power Sports is once again sponsoring the WPS/Ultimax Most Magnificant Mod Show this year. More than $2,500 in prizes will be awarded. For more details on how you can participate check out www.intermountainshow.com.
Wait, there's more. On Saturday there will be a swap meet. You know what they say, one man's junk is another man's treasure and at the snowmobile swap meet is the perfect place to swap some stuff out. You might even find some of those hard-to-find items. There will also be used sleds on sell at great prices.
