The Blackfoot (Idaho) Pride Days Snowmobile Water Drag Races are coming up this weekend.
The water drags will be held on Saturday, June 12. The races start at 11 a.m. and run until finished.
If you want to enter the race (go ahead, the lake isn't that deep), you can sign up the day of the race between 9-10:30 a.m. at Jensen Grove. Jensen Grove (park and lake) is just off Interstate 15 at the main Blackfoot exit.
The entry fee is $60 per sled, which includes a t-shirt. Prize money will be awarded to the top three places per class. Classes will be decided on race day, depending on the amount of racers. All racers will be required to wear a helmet and a life jacket and have a floating device securely attached to the sled.
