The Transmontana snowmobile ride is right around the corner and will once again benefit the Northwest Region of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
Sponsored by the Montana Snowmobile Association and supported by Teva Neuroscience, this year the six-day, 500-mile ride will start at the Canadian border north of Eureka and end at Raynolds Pass, outside West Yellowstone. The ride begins Jan. 18 and ends Jan. 23.
The proceeds from the ride will help fund programs to ease the challenges of individuals in Montana with multiple sclerosis and their care partners. Among the services offered are distribution of equipment, educational seminars, social events, assistance with MRIs, cooling program, toll-free helpline, networking program, assistance with support groups and therapeutic programs such as exercise, aquatics and therapeutic horseback riding.
If you're unable to participate in the ride, you can also simply make a pledge.
