Yamaha or Polaris Secondary on a Cat??

Is it possible to put a Yamaha or Polaris Secondary on a M series??? I have a 09 M1. Eating belts on the break in stage. Tried different shims and have the clutches ventilated. It seems if I can get the secondary to float it will line itself under heavy load. Can the factory clutch be modified to float? :

sure, just get a jack shaft machined for it... shouldn't be a problem... my question would be... WHY? get a tss-04 team if you're gonna do that, find a used hyperlite, tweak the stocker to work better... call some clutching gurus and talk to them about your options... i'll bet it'll save you a ton of cash if you do...

if you are hoping to get it float more then about 50thou you are gonna be dissapointed. I have tried it and once it gets loaded up it does not relaibly move on the jackshaft. I think you will be money ahead to get your offsets and alignments bang on and then tune your weights/helix/springs....IMO
