wtf coolant leak

cant figgure out where this leak is coming from, it happens after riding for a while, coolant is leaking off the pull start/mag and pooling up below it. the cap is kind of crappy, could it boil over through a bad seal in the cap? thats the only place i see coolant

I would try the cap. I had a similar problem because the tangs on the cap that engage the plastic bottle were sprung to wide and thus not allowing the cap to seal properly on the bottle.

Yep, I pinched mine in a little.

If it's an 07, the coolant line that runs below the recoil starter housing can rub. The 08's had a protective cover put on right there.
