What is everyone using for waxing the hoods to shed snow?

I bought some marine wax a while back for the inside of the tunnel and it works good, but I think when I use it on the hood it doesn't have the slippery factor in the snow. I also have the foam under the hood so the hood doesn't warm up to create a film of moisture to help slide the snow off.

Is your hood that hairy that you need to wax it?

The Brazilian is a bit pricey for the end result. Thought I would try another option.

Removed the foam as it holds water and used heat tape under the hood.
Got the cheap Nu Finish once a year wax and it works great.
Way cheaper than a fancy Salon job.

F21 polish! I use it for eveything! Hood, tunnel, truck, boat, and inclosed! Hell i even use it to keep my sled deck polished!

Pledge Furniture Polish. Great for your sled hood and helmet, makes it shiney and lemoney fresh!

Used to use Pledge as well, don't know why I stopped. Armorall worked too, always used to detail up the sleds way back then. . .
