Water or condensation in Polaris 550 trail

I bought this rental sled with 5K miles on it and decided to change the chaincase oil. It was real milkey and thick which make me think it was never changed and the moisture was from years of building up inside the case or water melting and leaking in the dip stick breather slots. The lower jack shaft seal has.never leaked any oil, even when I put it on the stand and ran it to get the moisture out of the case. As this point I ran ATF a few times and it seems to be getting flushed out. My question is "can moisture build up inside the crank through condensation over many years as a rental sled?" Hate to tear apart and put new seals in that are not leaking and maybe end up with the same problem.
