Escape has a different chain case, steering post and riser set up, non adjustable trailing arms that are lighter than the rmk model, det, light weight seat and reverse at least in 03.

We have both in our garage...and after a couple of mods they are pretty much the same. Both have raised bars - albeit different heights - and both have aftermarket lightweight seats. The difference in the stock seat weights is pretty amazing tho, with the Escape seat being way lighter than the stock Edge seat.

Perc reverse, Series IV 159" track, color scheme (very sexy I might add), lightweight fixed width trailing arms, lightweight rear skid, lightweight bogie wheels, Boss inspired lightweight seat that was taller than the Edge seat, upgraded shocks (most were Ryde FX, some were Fox) T-top steering post (shorter and lighter with a riser block stock), TEAM clutch, leather handlebar pad, leather cover over a clear tank, DET, phantom chain case, and probably more stuff I'm forgetting.
