Who makes the most dependable snowmobile engine? Rank the four sled companies from best to worst in reliability.[/QU you can't ride an engine you have to look at how the whole package works , as far as kits mtntech and rkt are my preference. if you are looking a just cost the rkt direct replacement pistons are probably the cheapest option .

How hard is the kit to install? Have you done one yourself?

My list of best components on stock sleds. Listed from best to worst.

Tracks: Cat, Doo, Poo, Yam. Can't beat the powderclaw.
Rear Suspension: Cat, Doo, Poo, Yam.
Front Suspension: Doo, Poo, Cat, Yam. Like the narrow 36" idea. Future sled will follow.
Tunnel: Cat, Doo, Poo, Yam.
Boards: Poo, no questions the rest are equal to ea. other.
Seats: Poo, Doo, Cat, Yam.
Engine: Yam, Doo, Cat, Poo. 4 strokes most reliable engine.
Turboed Engines: Yam no questions, Cat, Poo, Doo.
Best stock MTX sled: Doo and Poo, Cat, Yam.
