Switchback assault which gears?

probably asked somewhere else, just wondering which gears for my 14' switchback assault 800 , it has a 1.75" backcountry track and a ggb mountain can, 22-40 gears or 20-42. I don't mind to much about losing some top end just want bottom end and mid range. any info or opinions would be greatly appreciated . thanks

I have the 2" track on my SBA with the 20-42 and it rips pretty good low and mid. Still can top 90 on the speedo.

my actual plan is to be able to ride trails to and from "playing area's" but hit the throttle and it will stick on its end. I actually already have the 22- 40 gears in it dealer tech says its better for all around but im thinking I want to go with 20-42 gears .
