SLP pipe fitment

I have a 98 700 RMK. The pipe I am running is a stock 99 700 rmk. I see SLP has a different part # for the two years for their pipe. Does anyone know the difference? If I can run a stock 99 pipe shouldn't I be able to run a 99 SLP pipe. The reason is I have someone who has a 99 pipe they would sell me.
