this years race schedule: 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000 stock, imp, mod, open mod, elan/vintage,kids (13 and under 500cc and under). trying to get a four wheeler/motocycle race to. as of right now the only class that we will allow traction is the open mod. if anything changes i will be sure to post it. some people want to have traction allowed in all the mod classes. what does everyone think

I ride mine in the mountains without screws or pics and that's the way I like to go racing also. You do need to get a set of takeoff boards with some better traction though.

ok sounds good. that is why i am asking because this race is for the people that dont race every weekend. i dont run traction either. but i am trying to get everyones opinion

Race Rules

Boost ~ only traction in the OPEN MOD class. We need to disqualify anyone running traction at the beginning. We'll discuss it specifically. We always add & remove classes on race day depending on participation. Last year there were 74 racers. it was a a great race. The track, launch & lights will be improved this year. Lets just pray for snow!

What kinda money does this race pay out. If they are goin on ill be down. Its a 6hour drive for me tho. Is there usually a good turn out in the open mountain class

Interested in more as well. What would a Tubo Apex MTN sled run in? Never ran a drag race before but might be kinda fun.

Last year they had a class for boosted sleds and one for open mod . I ran in both. The open mod class will allow traction but not in the boosted class.

butte depot drags are being postponed because its like summer time here. so if we get some snow we will have them at a later date but if not we will have to wait till next year
