i have a 07 m8
speedwerx pipe and can
timbersled intake
i rode i 30" of powder on saturday
i noticed hat the sled would run fine if i sidehilled with the right side of the sled out of the snow
but if i switched sides it would bog down till i cleared the exhaust
this issue has been posted before
most of the replies were that the exhaust was filling the under hood and was causing the motor not to breath air (exhaust)
well here is what i found out
going to the bottom i removed the hood
did a side hill long with the exhaust in the snow and had the same issue
seems that the exhaust is getting cut off and not filling the underhood with exhaust
the next morning i drilled a hole in the top of the exhaust outlet on my speed werx can, adapted another exhaust outlet to the front on the shock well
and tried again this time with alot better results
this pipes is 1.25 in dia
there was no bog and no issues at all with either side
i didnt feel any power loss by this mod
i dont have any pics yet
