SE Idaho and Northern UT Grass Drags

SE Idaho has secured a Sod farm for grass dragging.

Since it was just secured, this year's schedule is given on short notice..

But the area is excellent and the racing should be as well

So, this year there will be 2 races at this new venue in Franklin ID

1st race: Sept 22nd

2nd race Oct 6th

So, come on out for some fun and enjoy some 2 stroke smoke (I guess the 4 strokers can come too)

Location is Hobbs Sod Farm in Franklin/Whitney ID just 3 miles over the Northern UT border..

Just 2 blocks off Hwy 91 at the Cub River Road Turn off..

Come have some fun...

Thanks for the info. Any idea when classes/entry fees/etc... will be announced? Would love to make it at least one weekend, but I have a ton going on already trying to get winter stuff in order. Hope there is a good turnout either way.

This is the official website.. I have not raced in 7 years.. so, not sure on pricing..

Gonna show up with my mountain sled and a primary clutch change and hope for the best..

Thanks. That's the site I have referred a couple peeps to this year, so hopefully it helps out. Def out on the 9/22 race, but might try to pull off the Oct. 6 one. Would be fun for sure.

Was anyone at the races on the 22nd and know what kind of turnout there was? I am thinking about maybe trying to come down for the ones this weekend but I dont want to drive 2 hours for 5 races. Wont be racing just wondering what the spectator portion is like? Any vendors setup? Just would be something to do during the slow season but curious what anyone can tell me about the events. Thanks!
