Hey everybody. I just bought a 04 cat 900 with a 151 and noticed when in the mountains the RPM was 8100-8300 area. Is this where I want it? Ive searched the forum and found fluctuating numbers.

I think you’re a little high what pipe(s) do you have? That can make a big difference. If you are running twin pipes you want to be around 8,000 after market single pipe around 7,700 and stock pipe around 7,500.

Im running the stock pipe still. So Im guessing I have to add some weight to the primary. Also, any idea how I can get rid of the right side bog with out spending a lot of money?

I also have a Pure Logic Fuel Controller but havent played with it because I have no idea how to use it nor can I find support for the damn thing.Anyone know how to use these?

If everything is stock you shouldn't need the fuel controller. Due to the current RPM's and the controller I would think that the sled had a pipe and other "go fast parts" that have been removed.

I have V-Force 3's and an SLP single pipe and can. I run mine at 8000 on the tach. I have 69 gram wieghts and the ti spring in the primary. I just redid the secondary at the start of the season. I am using an EPI purple spring in the middle hole and Rock rollers. The shifting is incredible. When I climb, if I have to back off, the back shift and upshift is instant. It makes me smile.

Isn't the 04 carbed? if so, why the controller?

the AC tachs are usually +200 I'd say you are a bit on the high side, put in a straigh 53* helix and either the cutler red/white spring or the green snopro spring in the secondary
