I am putting a new top end in my M8. I know I should check ring end gap, but the Cat pistons came with the rings already installed. Should I pull the rings and risk damaging them to check end gap?

you should be ok...your putting them in your same cylinders just deglazed abit aren.t ya..??...you can be assured suzuki just grab them from a shelf and chuck them in the motors..l have never checked ring gap with cat stock replacements and never had any problem..not to say its right though..you shouldn;t damage the rings if your carefull to check the gap properly though
