I put my delrin washer in the ts 98 team secondary tonite and cleaned everything up. When putting the torx back in the helix I had to pull pretty hard one way to get the little lip of the helix in the sheave so that the torx holes lined up (almost like loading one side of it) I figured it would pretty much center itself. Is that normal for the team, because everything looked good and the helix dropped in easy to that lip?

That is pretty normal. Sometimes you get lucky and they just line up. I usually just start one bolt, then use a #1 phlillips screw driver and move to the opposite side and move it which ever way it needs to move to line up the rest of the holes.

The reason they don't line up is because the belt deflection adjusting bolt has the sheave pushed out a ways. If you back off that alan bolt the helix will drop into place but then you have to reset deflection so it's easier to do it the way you describe.
