Primary clutch removal question

Plan on removing the primary off of my 900 RMK to clean and balance, have read all of the posts regarding "safe" and proper removal. Question is does the bolt that holds the primary on thread normally or reverse, reason I am asking is that I was watching an episode of Dirt Trax (ATV Show) one of the hosts was showing how to do some clutch work on an 850 XP and commented that the bolt holding the primary on was reversed thread. I realize it was a different clutch, ATV not Sled, etc. etc. just making sure I do this correctly being that it is my first attempt. Thanks in advance.
